What drives Sherbrooke prices
Sherbrooke sits in the Eastern Townships on Highway 10 and Highway 55. Manufacturing anchors the local economy. Highway 10 runs east from Montreal, and Highway 55 connects north and south. That junction gives Sherbrooke road access in several directions at once. The junction is the reason this market sits where it does. Manufacturing loads move out of the city and raw materials move back in, keeping local freight steady. It is the main market of the Townships, a manufacturing base set back from the St. Lawrence.
